Neurodivergent students, particularly those aged 12-14 transitioning into secondary school, often face challenges in managing their time, maintaining focus, and communicating effectively with teachers due to limited accessibility in mainstream tools. This lack of support leads to them falling behind. Existing resources are either too generalised or fail to address their unique needs.
Find a way to reduce friction between apps and have a variety of tools to help neurodivergent students overcome everyday struggles, including accessability features to increase usability

When carrying out my interviews, it was important for me to get a mix of interviews, from neurodivergent people to people who have worked with neurodivergent people, allowing me to get an insight from the direct user and people looking in on the situation too.
PlanIt is the project I am most proud of. I think my work has significantly improved and I am really pleased with how this app turned out. Over the 10 weeks of researching and developing, I have learnt a lot about accessibility in apps and this has become something i am really passionate about. I believe more apps should have a level of accessibility to suit users individual needs.










I found carrying out these interviews really interesting and motivated me more to produce an app who could help these people. There were common themes throughout the interviews which I was then able to categorise and begin finding solutions for
