When creating the concept of greenhouse gigs, I had to really tear apart the brief to understand the assignment. We had to choose a theme and an audience, so I decided on plants and punks. This leads me to research how the frequency of hardcore music is most beneficial to a plant's growth over any other music genre. This developed the idea of becoming a punk gig surrounded by plants, with the venue being a greenhouse. Greenhouse Gigs would also be a susstainable event which i know is important to consider when developing our projects.

When looking at competitors, I focused on websites like ticket master, to deveop my owon booking system further. As purchasing tickets is often expensive, the user must be clear of what they are buying and in what stage of purchasing they are in.

To further develop brand identity, I took heavy inspiration from the Sex Pistols posters with their  punchy colours and collage font. I include small details like masking tape and safety pins to further develop the punk theme.

Taking inspiration from my competitor research, I kept my booking system simple to allow for clear navigation and visibility of where on the website the user is. I wanted the website to feel trustworthy and secure. I relied on the colour scheme for hierarchy and navigation in some instances, such as all the buttons being green.

Overall, I am proud of this project. It has shown me how to make design fun and interesting while also providing user-friendly designs. In the future, I would consider developing the idea further and adding more events to the design.
